look at us...

Mark and Addison - 11 months old. It amazes me how a brother and sister can look so different.

Addison is very busy!

Our Roo-Roo is very busy!! And can you believe she is almost 1?! This year has flown by!! She is quite the wild woman these days and you have to keep an eye on her. If it gets too quiet, you know she is up to something - like climbing up the stairs. She loves to play in the pantry and push her toys around. Mark helps her steer, otherwise she is constantly running into furniture and getting mad. He is such a good big brother!!!! And...she has 4 teeth! Two on the bottom and 2 on the top. The top teeth have just barely come through. Also, she loves to take a bath! She splashes everywhere and doesn't care at all if her face gets wet. Quite different than Mark. Catch me if you can!!
She'll talk to you on the phone, but she would rather just hit the buttons and hang up on you.
Don't I look stylin' in my shades?
She loves, loves, loves Mark! How she greets him in the mornings.

While I get ready, she plays in the cabinets and completely empty them out! What a mess!

"man work"

Our neighbor (and friend) has a little boy who is about 2. When he and his dad have to work on something, they call it "man work". I just think this is so cute and funny and it fits perfectly with these pictures. We had a bunch of mulch delievered this week-end, so Jason and Mark had to get it all spread out in our flower beds. They each had their own wheelbarrow and shovels and gloves. Mark is quite the helper and did a good job keeping the mulch in the islands and off the grass. It was a lot of "man work".

we have a tooth!!

Addison is almost 11 months old and has FINALLY cut her first tooth! It's on the bottom and has just barely broke through, so we couldn't get a picture of it. When it gets bigger, we'll post pictures. It has been hard work for Addison and the rest of us to get this tooth!

Thomas the Train!!

THOMAS!!!
How cute! Mark and Addison looking out the window on our train ride.

"He was huge" - how Mark describes Thomas.

Sir Topam Hatt - the head conductor of the Island of Sodor, where Thomas lives.
This week-end we headed to Chattanooga, TN to see Thomas the Train! Yes, it was a real Thomas!! Mark had a great time! We got to ride Thomas, which I think was the highlight of Mark's trip. There were trains constantly going by on nearby tracks, which Mark and Addison enjoyed watching. There was also lots of Thomas things to do to keep Mark entertained. Addison just hung out in the stroller or on me.
