Playing Outside!
It was so warm today, we went outside for some swinging and digging. Addison enjoyed swinging, so much so, that she fell asleep! Mark ran around as usual! He dug around in his "garden" and played on his jungle gym. We can't wait for spring to arrive and bring warm weather. More playing outside and less germs for sure!
Watch Out!
Now that Addison is crawling, her favorite thing to do is "love" on Lucy and Dexter. Dexter, being the good dog that he is, doesn't mind at all. He likes the attention. Lucy on the other hand, will let Addison "pet" her for a minute, but then takes off. Addison listens for the cats to meow and then takes off after them. Poor cats...
Mark's Trip to the Dentist
Mark visited the dentist for the first time this Thursday. They even took his picture! (that's the bottom picture) The dentist said his teeth look great and he has good spacing between all teeth! Mark came home with a goodie bag of treats too - a new toothbrush, Buzz Lightyear floss, a magnet and his picture. He did a good job getting his teeth cleaned and even took x-rays. Their seats are kid sized and when he had to lay back for the cleaning he wore sunglasses to keep the bright lights out of his eyes. It was cute!
Look What Mommy Got!
My new 2008 Honda Odyssey! Yes, it's true - I drive a minivan! Isn't it great? It has navigation, dvd and the best part? Automatic doors!! Being the best husband in the world, Jason suprised me with my new car! I went away for a girl's week-end with 8 of my best buddies and got a call from Jason telling me he was at the dealership and buying my new car! I really like my new car, but Mark LOVES the minivan! He is such the helper too - he loves to press the buttons on the remote to open the doors.
Look Who's CRAWLING!
Look at our little girl - she's crawling! ALREADY! She's not very fast, yet, but she is doing such a good job! Watch out Mark - nothing is safe anymore!
Hey, Pretty Girl!
Mark is always excited to help get Addison up from her naps. He runs in her room, stands on his stool we painted together and says. "hey, pretty girl". She is just as excited to see him and "talks" back to him. I can only hope they continue to love each other this much.
Bathtime, Again!
We have learned that when Addison looks like this, the only way to clean her up is to put her in the bathtub. This time we put her in the big tub with Mark. She had fun! She would splash, find things to chew on and watch Mark. She is still working on her teeth, but nothing has come through yet! Mark started getting teeth at 6 months. Addison is almost 8 months and still no teeth! Just another example of how different they are.
My Booh, He's So Sweet!
Last week was not my best week. So Jason surprised me and had flowers delievered. What a surprise! He's so sweet!
